Evora, June 13-14, 2024
The workshop devoted to the illustration of the opportunities provided by the Erasmus+ programme, foreseen in the framework of the WP2 of the STRIVE project, was held in Portugal, hosted by the University of Évora. The workshop was attended by more than 50 university staff members, in presence and remotely, from the STRIVE project consortium as well as from 11 Vietnamese universities new to the project.
The two days training event was devoted to supply the beneficiary universities with an overview of the Erasmus+ Programme with its priorities and objectives as well as to provide specific information on KA1 and KA2 CBHE projects, including eligibility criteria, funding rules, award criteria and other details on the two actions.
Best practices and lesson learned in international cooperation projects were the leitmotiv of the second training day, focusing on the strengths and weaknesses of the design, management, impact, and dissemination process of Erasmus+ capacity building in higher education and of Erasmus+ mobility projects.
Strategies set out by the higher education institutions attending the event to carry out successful proposals and to overcome shortcoming in the implementation phase of such initiatives have been discussed: dissemination, share of information, good knowledge of partners, flexibility, trust and credibility, share of resourcefulness emerged as key success factors.
